Coleman was born and raised in the town of the town of Blackpool in Lancashire. Coleman graduated from Arnold School Blackpool, where she was able to get straight As in the A-levels she took. Discussing her role on Emmerdale Coleman admitted that she regretted not having a conventional University experience. Coleman was a part of a theatre company, In Yer Space while at school. The company performed during the Edinburgh Festival for the play Crystal Clear. The performance received praise, and the play was praised by the critics. Coleman was given the part as Jasmine Thomas at Emmerdale while trying out for drama classes in 2005. Coleman was awarded two awards in the year 2007. Coleman won two nominations in 2007 for Best Newcomer in the British Soap Awards; and most Popular Newcomer at the National Television Awards. For the British Soap Awards of 2009 she was nominated under the categories of Best Actress and Sexiest female and the category for Best Dramatic Acting. Coleman received a TV Choice Award nomination in the category of Best Actress. The 21st of March, 2012 Doctor Who producer Steven Moffat made it clear at a press conference that Coleman would as the Doctor's companion along with Matt Smith after Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill have left the show. Moffat said that he chose Coleman for the role of companion because she would perform best alongside Smith. Additionally, Moffat noted that she was more talkative than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She has been in the world of entertainment since 1987. However, she is better recognized for her TV shows instead of films. In all the roles Eva has played on TV shows Dr. Maria Santos in All My Children and the detective Natalia Boa Vista' in CSI Miami are the two which stand out. The role that she first appeared on television earned 2 Daytime Emmy nominations, and gave her the opportunity to explore the love of music in her. Eva is a businesswoman, and also an actress. She has been married thrice and also has a daughter with her second husband.
