Bowlby was a student at East Union High School in Manteca the state of California. She moved there as a young child. Her first studies were French and ballet at Moorpark College. Then she decided to pursue acting. She studied with Ivana Chaubbuck, and was offered a part in a television show (Kandi, Two and a Half Men) just a few months after she had her Hollywood audition. Bowlby's TV roles include CSI in which she played Kaitlin rackish in the year 2004 CSI: NY, where she was Jenny Lee in 5, Freddie: Sydney as Sydney in 5 as well as How I Met Your Mother: Meg. More recently Bowlby was cast in the role as Natasha on All Roads Lead Home a film from 2007 about a twelve year old girl that loses her mother in an automobile collision. Bowlby has been cast in the upcoming 2008 comedy movie The Slammin Salmon as Mia. She lives with her family in Los Angeles. Naturally red-haired, she has blue eyes. She was never married, and has no children.
