Hayley is an American performer and actress. Many people recognize the character as Erica Goldberg in the comedy The Goldbergs' TV show. She is mostly as a musician. She says that music was always her first love. As she grew to 12 old, the art of music was taken seriously enough, that she started formal training. At 13, she began creating songs. She recorded her debut album when she was 14. From that point on, there's been no looking back. Orrantia is of Hispanic roots, however she was born in the USA. Her family has Hispanic roots even if she was only able to speak English as a child and spent her entire life in America. By learning Spanish and writing songs she is trying to maintain the spirit of her culture. She has recorded an Spanish version of the song called 'Hasta Verte. The summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the premiere Season of The X Factor. Orrantia got selected out of the submission of a YouTube video that she submitted and got four "yes" votes from the judge at the time of live auditions in Seattle, Washington. Although she originally auditioned on her own during "Hollywood Week", she and three other female vocalists were put into groups for the remaining part in the selection process. The live shows were held in the 5th week.
